Solas Run for Life

Last weekend over 1600 runners and walkers completed the 10mile Run for Life race in aid of the Solas Centre in Waterford, in a rare, warm & sunny October.  It was great to see the sea of bright orange t-shirts stretching out along the ring road, everyone taking part for a good cause.  We had many club members among them including Brian O’Sullivan (finished 5^th overall in 59.39mins) John McDonald (who finished 9^th overall in 61.37mins), Tom Brennan, Colin Fanning, Chelly Brennan, Tom Cullen, Bob Cowman, John Moloney, Kyle Barrett, Paul Hallahan, Martin Kirwan and the chatterboxes Olive O’Brien, Norma Goggin, Edwina Butler, Margo O’Dowd, Paul Wyse, Martin Flynn & Shane McDonagh.
