12th May 2010 - Waterford to Tramore Road Race Last weekend the annual Waterford to Tramore 7.5mile road race took place with almost 400 runners taking part. We had a great turnout from the club with Pauline Lambe holding onto her title to finish 1st lady home in 44.03, over a minute ahead of her nearest rival, to finish 17th overall. Darryl Hale was next home in 27th place in 45.07. The tri of Tom Brennan, Paul Hallahan and Dermot Power all finished together in 50.23, 50.24 and 50.25 respectively with John Brennan, Emmet Kelly and Brian Russell not far behind in 52.03 and 52.41 and 53.17. Roisín O’Grady had a brilliant run to finish in 59.52 with Bruce Wardrop just behind in 59.56. Martin Flynn was taking it handy to finish very fresh in a time of 61.51.
