Training Timetable - Sept '10 - Dec '10 Monday Track session at Regional Sports Centre (RSC) 7.30 - 8.30pm Slow to Medium standard (costs €2 if member of Waterford Athletic club) ********* Tuesday Pilates - Roanmore Sports Centre 6.45 - 7.45 pm Beginner to intermediate level - All fellow triathletes Costs €45 for 8 lessons (fully booked until after xmas) ********* Track session at Regional Sports Centre (RSC) 6-7pm (5.45pm warm-up) Medium to fast standard (followed by casual 4-6 mile run afterwards) (costs €2 if member of Waterford Athletic club) ********* Wednesday Swim Lessons - Splashworld (Tramore) 7-8pm Mixed abilities - beginner to advanced Costs €5 per night (pay as you go basis) - Fully booked up at the moment ********* Pilates class run by Splashworld 8pm-9pm costs €10 pay as you go basis ********* Thursday Winter League Running League starting mid Nov. running for 12 weeks (with short break over xmas 2mile & 4mile option, handicap system, slowest 1st, fastest last. (Hundreds take part so plenty of company!) Sign on at Waterford Regional Sports Centre from 6.30pm, starts 7pm, costs €3 per night. ********* Friday Swim Lessons - Splashworld (Tramore) 7-8pm 4 lanes of mixed abilities - places available Costs €5 per night (pay as you go basis) ********* Saturday Run in Portlaw woods Meet at 10am at car park area up Church hill (through Portlaw) A hilly off road run with 2-3 groups depending on ability and various distances, 5-12 miles ********* Sunday Cycle – meet at 9.30am at Top Garage on Cork rd. (beside B&Q roundabout) 2-3 groups, depending on abilities on the day Approx 30-50 miles but can cater for shorter distances for newcomers (Need helmet, water bottles & food & plenty warm clothes!) PRE RACE Waterford Triathlon Top/Hoodie, clothes to warm up in, rain jacket, Triathlon Ireland membership card / One day licence printout plus photo ID SWIM Wet suit, swim hat (x2), tri suit, goggles, nose clip, glide stick/vegetable oil (or similar, to help get wetsuit on/off), watch, sunscreen, ground towel to wipe feet on after swim CYCLE Bike, helmet, cycle shoes, sunglasses, water bottles (with energy drink), food/energy bars, saddle bag/tool kit/spare inner tube/oil, pump, bike computer, race belt. RUN Runners (with elastic laces), hat POST RACE Waterford Triathlon Top/ Hoodie
